Amal joins Apex as Finance Manager, bringing over nine years of finance experience across the real estate and retail sectors. He is FCCA qualified and most recently worked at Mapletree Investments, where he was responsible for financial reporting for a £200m student accommodation portfolio comprising multiple entities, in accordance with FRS 102. Earlier in his career, he held finance roles with H&M Group and Merlin Entertainments.

At Apex, Amal will leverage his expertise in real estate finance, financial reporting, and multi-entity portfolio management to support the company's continued growth within the guaranteed rent and social housing sectors. He is passionate about driving operational efficiencies, strengthening financial controls, and supporting strategic decision-making, with a long-term ambition of progressing to CFO level.

Outside of work, Amal enjoys travelling, photography, exploring new places on road trips, and maintaining an active lifestyle. He also appreciates unwinding with a good Netflix series.
