During these unprecedented times, we would like to assure our partners and tenants that we are monitoring the situation of COVID-19 closely and will continue to operate the business as usual while ensuring that we carry out the appropriate measures to keep our staff and our tenants safe.
We are actively continuing to monitor the COVID-19 situation within the UK and we can assure you that we are taking every necessary step to maintain the health, safety and wellbeing of our residents and staff.
We are fully committed to following all government and Public Health England advice and will update if our response changes.
All Apex staff members are currently working from home to mitigate the enhanced risk of COVID-19.
Any staff members who are required to attend call outs to emergency appointments have been reminded of the government guidance regarding hygiene and are aware of all self-isolation protocol.
All Apex staff members responding to emergencies are being provided with face-masks, protective gloves and hand sanitiser.
Please note that we will only be carrying out appointments with residents in the following circumstances: emergency callouts, gas and electrical certificates, and check ins and outs.
Staff have been instructed that before making appointments, they must ask residents if they are either showing any symptoms of COVID-19, or if they are self-isolating.
If the answer is yes to either question, the Apex staff will not be able to visit the property unless it is an emergency.
All Apex staff members responding to emergencies will be required to use their face-masks, protective gloves and hand sanitiser.
For any property being vacated by a resident with a confirmed case of COVID-19, Apex will be carrying out a professional cleaning to thoroughly disinfect the property.
